      ※For the past 10 years, we have maintained the same rental fees for items such as gi sets. However, due to recent increases in prices and operational costs, it has become difficult to sustain the current pricing.Therefore, effective April 1, 2025, we will be revising our rental fees as follows:

      Gi rental (includes rash guard and towel): ¥1,000 → ¥2,000 (tax included)

      Towel / Belt / Rash guard rental: ¥100 → ¥300 (tax included)

      Kimono Cleaning & Private Locker Service

      This service allows you to keep your Kimono at the dojo. When you finish training just throw your kimono in the basket provided in the change rooms and the staff will wash, dry, fold and put your kimono in your locker. This service includes the use of a rental towel. And so there is no need to bring anything when you come to the dojo. Of course you can also keep other stuff such as supplements in your locker too.

      Drop-in for CARPE DIEM Members

      Members of Carpe Diem BJJ seeking to train at one of our other dojos can do so by paying 2000 JPY per day. There is no need to make a reservation prior to your visit.

      First month of fees for new members

      When new members join during the month, the first month’s fees will be prorated to the nearest third of the month.
      For example; joining any time in the first ten days will incur a full month of fees. In the next ten days membership will be prorated to two thirds of the month and so on.

        • Completed Application Form. This can be obtained from CARPE DIEM BJJ.
        • Enrollment Fee (Cash or credit cards).
        • Membership fee for first two months. Membership Fees are calculated from the first to the last day of a month. Those people who join after the first of the month will be asked to pay a relative percent of the first month’s fee. For example, someone joining on the 15th would pay 50% of the first month’s fee.
        • Credit cards or for Japanese Bank Account holders: Bank cash card. Monthly Membership Fees for CARPE DIEM BJJ are processed through monthly automatic bank transfers from members’ accounts. It usually takes one month from the time of registration for the banking information to be processed, so members are asked to pay for the first month of membership at CARPE DIEM BJJ in cash. From the second month, monthly fees will be withdrawn automatically from members’ bank accounts.

        Membership Suspension Procedures

        You can suspend your membership from the following month by submitting the prescribed membership suspension form by the 10th of each month (or the next business day if the 10th is a holiday).

        Example: If you want to suspend your membership from May, submit the form by April 10th.

        Membership suspension fee: 2,000 yen per month

        ＊ If you wish to use the dojo as a visitor during the suspension period, the regular visitor fee of 4,500 JPY (tax included) per day will apply.

        Resigning Membership

        You can resign your membership at the end of any month by submitting the prescribed resignation form by the 10th of that month (or the next business day if the 10th is a holiday).

        Example) If you want to resign at the end of May, submit the form by May 10th.

        In addition, you will be asked to fill out a special form at the gym. It cannot be accepted by mail or email.
